SFU Lacrosse Fund
With a gift to the SFU Lacrosse Fund you will support our team as we compete for championships in the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League and Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
Established in 1996, Simon Fraser University Men's Lacrosse is a Division I member of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). The Red Leafs have been one of the most successful teams in the MCLA since the league's establishment, ranking eleventh all-time with thirteen MCLA National Championship tournament appearances, placing 2nd in 1999 and playing in the 2010 MCLA Semi-Finals after reaching the Quarterfinals in 2008 and 2009.
Looking to repeat their success as they shoot for another conference title, the SFU Lacrosse program needs your help in order to reach those goals. Student-athletes are required to pay dues of $4,300 which covers their equipment, travel, and other operating funds. Due to increased prices from our suppliers, these dues no longer cover all of our costs. We would like to alleviate putting any additional financial stress on our student-athletes, and are asking for donations from the community.
SFU Lacrosse is looking to help fund the following for our student-athletes:
- Travel
- Equipment
- Training
With a gift to the SFU Lacrosse Fund, you will help provide our team with the necessities so that our student-athletes can focus solely on academics and lacrosse. Your donation will go directly towards to the lacrosse program.
