Student support comes in many forms

As diverse as your philanthropic interests are, so are the backgrounds and passions of our students. That’s why you can fund learning in any faculty or department through bursaries, awards, scholarships and endowments.

• Bursaries provide financial support to students demonstrating financial need. 
• Awards recognize outstanding academic, athletic or community achievements.
• Scholarships recognize outstanding academic achievement.
• An endowment is a larger sum of money that is held by SFU and only the investment income generated each year by the endowment is used to support the award.
