A donation receipt will be issued to American donors by Friends of SFU. U.S. donors can give through Friends of SFU by:
- Cheque
- Bank draft
- Wire transfer
- Publicly traded securities & stocks
Additional giving option
Under the Canadian–United States Income Tax Convention, Simon Fraser University alumni and their families may also make donations directly to the university.
How to give through a cheque or a bank draft
- Make your donation payable to the Friends of Simon Fraser University.
- Include a memo note or letter with your gift advising that a contribution is made to the Friends of Simon Fraser University specifying the designation or purpose of the gift.
