SFU Robot Soccer Club
The Simon Fraser University Robot Soccer Club is dedicated to driving growth, community involvement, and competitive technology. Their mission involves providing practical hands-on experience in robotics and artificial intelligence—preparing students for the future. Beyond the field, they engage with the community through outreach programs and sharing their passion for technology.
As they gear up for the RoboCup 2025 tournament, your generosity will directly support their journey to compete globally, representing SFU with pride. Join us in shaping the future of robotics at Simon Fraser University!
Sponsoring the Simon Fraser University Robot Soccer Club will not only provide robotics students with much needed support, it will make a meaningful impact across three key areas:
Competitions (Estimated cost: $20,000 per year):
- Your support will help cover expenses for 10 key students to participate in the international Robocup Tournament. This includes flight, accommodation, participation fees, and ensuring the team can compete on a global stage.
Robot Team Development (Estimated cost: varying):
- Team Advancements ($10,000 per semester): As SFU's Robot Soccer Club completes its team of robots, support of $10,000 per semester ensures ongoing innovation for the entire team of robots, pushing the boundaries of their capabilities.
- Individual Robot Building ($2,500 per robot): Funding of $2,500 enables the team to construct an individual robot from the ground up, covering materials and manufacturing costs.
Social Engagement (Estimated cost: $500 per semester):
- Sponsorship funds for social engagement enhance community initiatives, allowing the team to organize events such as club socials and outreach programs. These efforts, totaling $500 per semester, contribute to building a connected and unified community passionate about engineering and technology.
Your investment in the SFU Robot Soccer Club impacts competition, development, and the fostering of a vibrant community with outreach initiatives that leave a lasting impression on both our members and the broader community. Join us in shaping the future of robotics and engineering at Simon Fraser University.
