Mike's Ride is a recreational bike event and fundraiser happening on June 3, 2023 for the SFU Library Mike McIntosh Undergraduate Award. The award supports an SFU student working or volunteering in any of the SFU libraries, and donations go directly towards continuing this support.

Welcome to Mike's Ride, a recreational bike event and fundraiser for the Mike McIntosh Undergraduate Award at Simon Fraser University (SFU). On June 3, 2023, a group of riders will embark on a 70 km loop connecting all three SFU campuses: from the downtown campus out to (and up!) Burnaby Mountain, across the Fraser River to the Surrey campus, and then back downtown.
Mike's Ride isn't just a fun social event; it's also an opportunity to support the SFU Library Mike McIntosh Undergraduate Award. Mike McIntosh was an SFU librarian who tragically died in a bike collision in 2019. The award is named in his memory and supports an SFU student working or volunteering in any of the SFU libraries.
