Meet Dr. David J. Price, Founding Dean, SFU School of Medicine, and Special Advisor to the Provost and VP Academic

Dr. David J. Price was appointed as SFU’s founding dean of Medicine in July 2024 and had served as interim dean since September 2023. He leads a growing and diverse team establishing the first entirely new school of medicine in Western Canada in 55 years.

Archive of beloved CBC show Writers & Company comes to SFU

Thanks to an extraordinary partnership with the CBC, researchers and the public alike will be able to freely access this important and prestigious collection on the SFU Library website. A sample of digitized Writers & Company episodes are available now in the audio collection, and the entire run of the program will become available in the archive between 2024-2026.

SFU alumnus Michael Provenzano (BSc ’20) has enjoyed an impressive basketball career that has taken him from SFU’s courts to playing professionally in Melilla, Spain, and now coaching with Michigan State University.
