In recognition of Dr. John Abreu's commitment to pedagogy in the field of mathematics as well as his passion for community involvement, his family has established the Dr. John Abreu Memorial Award in Mathematics. The memorial award will support students with a declared major in mathematics who are also active members of the community through volunteerism and/or community service.
