The Schmidt Family Volleyball Endowment

In memory of Gail’s passing, please consider supporting SFU Women’s Volleyball players who, like Gail, demonstrate positive contributions to the community.

As avid supporters of SFU Volleyball and champions of women’s academic and athletic achievement, Gail and Gary’s goal was to endow enough money to create a full tuition scholarship for the SFU Women’s Volleyball program. Gail was a teacher for 42 years, teaching chemistry and providing mentorship to many teachers. She was also a lifelong supporter of school sports, a basketball coach, and was highly involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.

Donating to this fund will help continue Gail’s legacy of fostering both athletic and personal excellence in future generations, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young athletes.
