Ascension Robotics is a student team competing in the RoboMaster robotics competition under Simon Fraser University Robotics Club (SFURC). The team aims to use the competition to learn and educate on the topic of robotics, developing skills directly applicable to industrial & engineering positions.

The team plans to compete in the RoboMaster North America’s 1V1 and 3V3 events in June 2024 at Colorado Boulder University, potentially being the first team to field three robots in their rookie year in RoboMaster history. Through competing in this event, the team hopes to bring SFU’s technical ability and passion for engineering to display to the world and gain valuable networking opportunities with other teams and industrial professionals.
