sticky

The International Teacher Education Module (ITEM) offers students the opportunity to study and complete teaching placements with institutional partners.

Currently the faculty is working with partners in Dharamsala, India and Oaxaca, Mexico. During their international placement, students live either with host families or in campus residences. They complete a comprehensive program of in-classroom practicums, instructional seminars as well as language and culture classes.

Help more students experience a once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity and contribute today.

This award was created in memory of Ian Andrews, a vibrant member of the Faculty of Education community, and his partner, Renate Doege.
