SFU Rocketry

SFU Rocketry is a dynamic and innovative design team that provides opportunities for students to learn about and engage in the exciting field of rocketry and space exploration. Our members come from a wide range of academic disciplines, including engineering, physics, mathematics, business, and more. They are brought together by a shared passion for space and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the field. Ultimately, SFU Rocketry is developing cutting-edge aerospace technologies all while working towards developing a suborbital liquid-fueled rocket! 

The team's projects are designed to give members a comprehensive education in rocketry and aerospace engineering. By working on these projects, members gain practical experience in engineering and technical skills, as well as an understanding of the complex challenges involved in launching a professional rocket into space. Members also develop important teamwork and problem-solving skills, which are essential for success in this field.

SFU Rocketry is also committed to giving back to the student community at and around SFU. Most recently we have hosted comprehensive educational lectures on designing and building propulsion systems and rocket engines. We also aid in STEM outreach with youth and children in multiple events. We always look for new members to learn with us!

In order to continue our exploration, we need your help! Your donation will help us to purchase materials, design, build and test new aerospace and rocketry technology, and attend events where we can showcase our work and learn from others in the field.
