Every student has a story

You may receive a call from an SFU student this spring. Please take a moment to reminisce and find out first-hand how much your help means to those who are struggling.

We've heard time and again how the current housing crisis has caused an enormous amount of financial strain. Higher rental costs have resulted in a lack of funds for other essentials such as food, tuition, transportation and textbooks.

We also hear many stories of single parents dedicated to completing their studies and improving the future for themselves and their children. We know SFU students are working hard not only in the classroom but also to make ends meet.

"I'm so thankful for the bursary I received. A lot of stress has been alleviated, which allows me to focus on my studies and cherish the time I have with my son," shares SFU student, Brian Misera (pictured right, with son Vincent).

As an alumnus, you understand better than anyone how important it is to stay healthy, positive and focused on school. That's why our students are reaching out to you. Please make a meaningful gift today and change the life of a student in need. 100% of your donation goes directly to student support.

Donate now to the Alumni Scholarship and Bursary Fund, the Horne Family bursary for single parents or give to the fund of your choice.
