The Geography Undergraduate Fieldwork Endowment provides support for fieldwork within courses across all branches of geography. One of the factors that make for a successful learning environment in geography is the ability to offer access to challenging and stimulating educational experiences outside of the classroom. SFU recognizes that spending time immersed in the field is an integral and valuable part of every geography student’s degree. Funds from this endowment help cover the practical costs of any field activity, with special consideration for undergraduates enrolled in upper division geography courses.
