Chair for Technology Innovations for Youth Addiction Recovery and Mental Health

You can help change the future of treatment for youth experiencing mental health issues and/or addiction.

The purpose of the Chair for Technology Innovations for Youth Addiction Recovery and Mental Health is to develop technology-based diagnostic and treatment tools. Medical treatments are available for many types of mental illness. However, depression is not easily treatable with medication in children and youth; medications for mental illness have been linked to thoughts of suicide.

Technological treatments are becoming more commonly accepted as non-invasive alternatives. Tools such as smart phones and tablets can make delivery of therapies and treatments more cost effective and easily deliverable to young people. Donate now and be the catalyst that helps increase effective treatment options for struggling youth.
